Elidh pictured with her colleagues at UK ATC.Congratulations to Eilidh Fraser, who has successfully completed her Engineering Support Group (ESG) apprenticeship at UK ATC. 

Since joining in August 2021 Eilidh has spent the past few years turning 3D designs into precision components for world-leading astronomy instruments, while also championing inclusion and diversity across the site. 

Highlights have included the people, complex CNC parts and joining LISA. And her dedication and creativity were recognised with a STFC Apprenticeship Impact Award in 2023. 

Eilidh Fraser said: "Completing my apprenticeship has been challenging and fulfilling. I've learned so much, from hands-on engineering to communicating ideas with the public. Winning the Impact Award was a real honour, and I'm grateful to my colleagues for their support every step of the way." 

Graham Wilks, UK ATC ESG Manager, said: "Eilidh has been an outstanding member of the team. Her technical skills, creativity and enthusiasm have made a real difference. We're delighted to see her complete her apprenticeship." 

Now Eilidh has graduated she will stay on at UK ATC in her new role as a Mechanical Technician.
